Transcription: One of the interesting things that I have discovered now in going back to looking at the images in their first stages is how empty they look compared to the finished image. I find that to be something worthy of note. The original images from which I started look totally abandoned and empty. I started out with this picture here because I love the blueness of everything. And there is a tenderness of this woman walking with her child up the stairs. The image is a lovely image, but somehow I felt there was a place that I could, like a stage, recreate many things.
